Abstract

|
Though the unilateral absence of the pulmonary artery° was uncommon but not a rare congenital anomaly in Westerns, there has.been no report in this country.
We describe here a patient with the unilateral absence of the right pulmonary artery- and patent ductus arteriosus with review of pertinent literatures. The patient was a 35 year old, female who entered the Severance Hospital because of dyspnea and cyanosis. The anomaly was suggested by the films of the chest, the electrocardiogram and the lung scan. It was confirmed by the cardiac catheterization and the cineangiocardiogram.
